Small Business Sunday (SBS) Award
A little while back I decided to leave Twitter, I had an active (ish) Twitter account for about 8 years but it had been much neglected over the past few years as I had explored new angles and lost many an hour to understanding Instagram!
Just as I was about to close it down though I noticed some posts about a lady I network with and how she supports people with Twitter so I thought I would give it one last shot!
I enlisted the support of Claire at Saxton Marketing https://saxtonmarketing.co.uk/and within two weeks of her helping me something amazing happened!
I was ignoring social media as I try to do of an evening when Claire messaged me, I could tell she was all excited but hadn’t a clue what about, she told me to head over to Twitter.
Now, my Twitter account ticked along with a couple of notifications a day usually but when I went in to see what Claire was on about, I noticed 98 notifications and rising by the second!
I had only gone and won one of the Theo Paphitis #SBS (Small Business Sunday) awards!
As I am sure you will know Theo is quite famous for doing remarkably well in retail and for being on Dragons’ Den and in his aim to support small businesses set up these awards and a truly amazing business community which I am now very pleased to be allowed to be a part of!
It isn’t just about increasing my Twitter following there is a whole background of support and events to attend making you feel a part of a very special community which Theo himself is very actively involved in.
I am very much looking forward to the event where I get to meet with Theo but in the meantime amazing things have already started to happen off the back of my #SBS win but more of that in the next blog!!
If you have a small business and a twitter account, I recommend you take a look and if you haven’t a clue what to do with Twitter, I highly recommend you have a chat with Claire at Saxton Marketing!
